Betty has been helping individuals, couples and families find homes in Colorado for the past 11 years. Born and raised on a farm in Northern Colorado, she began her career as a teacher. After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Fort Lewis College in Durango and a Master's Degree Administration from Colorado University in Boulder, Betty taught elementary and middle school for 13 years before moving into the administrative roles of middle school assistant principal and principal. She retired in 1994 after 20 years of education and began her second career as a REALTOR®.

Betty has several real estate designations including Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) and Master of Real Estate (MRE). When she isn't helping her clients find the perfect property, Betty spends time with her three children and five grandchildren. She also takes advantage of the activities available in the Durango area, especially biking, hiking, golfing, reading, gardening and sewing. Betty also donates annually to several organizations including the American Cancer Society, the United Way and the Humane Society - La Plata County.
